A really lovely example of Sicily’s indigenous Grillo grape variety, richly fruity but with intriguing nut and herb layers. Produced in Sambuca di Sicilia in the west of the island, this Grillo really expresses its terroir. The area lies inland, perched in the limestone hills around Lake Arancio amidst beautiful forests. The influence of the cold nights and cool sea air is evident in the zestier, focused profile of this wine’s fruit.
