PLEASE NOTE THIS BOTTLE SIZE IS 20CLS OR 2/7 OF A NORMAL BOTTLE SIZE Since 1892 this wine has been produced in Massandra and Ay-Danil. All of the wines Ay-Danil Tokay, Massandra Tokay, Livadia Tokay are made from late harvested Furmint and Harslevelu varieties, as in Hungary, though the technique for the production of these unique wines in the Crimea differs from that of the traditional Hungarian ones. The wines can be exceptionally concentrated especially if the grapes have been affected by botrytis (noble rot). These wines require very long ageing to be at their best and are capable of extraordinary longevity.
