From the very good 2014 vintage and scoring 90/100 Parker points “Tasted blind at the Burgfest annual tasting, the 2014 Chablis 1er Cru Montmains from Pinson has a fresh, stony and aniseed-tinged bouquet that displays good intensity. The palate is fresh and tensile on the entry with sour lemon and steely notes, good depth in the mouth with a flattering, quite animated finish that lingers in the mouth. Very fine and moreover it improves in the glass and finally settles at a quality level higher than I discerned at last year’s tasting.” Drink now – 2030.
