It’s from Mendoza, Malbec’s heartland – specifically an area near the Mendoza River which is known for producing really high-quality wines. Some of the vines are more than fifty years old – it’s the perfect microclimate for ripening really concentrated grapes. Smooth. Ripe. Juicy. It’s a really moreish wine, with a plush velvety texture. It’s a real fruit-bomb too, a glassful of cherries, plums and blueberries with a subtle vanilla spiciness. We think there’s nothing better with a juicy beef burger. Delicious..
