Vincent Latour ‘Clos des Magny’ Meursault 2022. Established in 1972 by Jean Latour, the domaine was taken over by his son Vincent in 1998. Vincent uses an interesting mix of oak casks. As well as the more usual 228 and 600 litre barrels, he has a range of 2, 500 litre oak foudres which were made especially for him by the tonnellerie Rousseau in Gevrey-Chambertin. These larger casks give wines with greater freshness and minerality, a hallmark of the estate. This wine is wonderfully rafreshing and makers the perfect pairing for Salmon, buttery roast chicken and rich cheese dishes..
