The wine’s name comes from owner Andrew Peace: one late summer’s evening he looked out over his Durif vines, and saw them illuminated by a beautiful full moon. Family-owned and operated, Andrew Peace is among the larger Australian producers, but it still maintains a commitment to quality. Their story began in 1981 when Pam and Jim, Andrew’s parents, bought a vineyard as an excuse to escape the city. A little over a decade later Andrew had established a winery and made his first vintage. Now they’re in their third generation and craft over 40 different wine styles..
