Founded in 1868, Canard-Duchêne is one of Champagne’s most distinctive houses – nestled in the Montagne de Reims and known for wines that blend skill in the winery with fruit purity and famed for Pinot Noir. Their Brut Rosé is a fine example, crafted from a high proportion of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with just a touch of still red wine for colour. The result is a vibrant, elegant rosé Champagne with wild strawberry, raspberry and citrus peel notes. There’s a soft mousse and a long, dry finish with a whisper of spice – making it as at home with food as it is as an apéritif. Serve with smoked salmon blinis, sushi or berry pavlova..
