Chandon Brut, Argentina. Chandon Argentina was founded by Moet and Chandon in 1959 to produce a sparkling wine that combined French winemaking expertise and the passion of Argentina. Found at the foothills of the Andes mountains, Chandon’s winery and vineyards thrive at the heightened elevation of 1000m+. Made from a blend of grapes harvested from high-altitude vineyards, ranging from 1200 to 1450 metres above sea level in Argentina’s Mendoza region. The assemblage is made up of an almost equal mix of chardonnay (60%) and pinot noir (40%), chosen for a fresh and smooth finish. After fermentation in stainless-steel tanks and more than 18 months spent on lees, the wine is aged for three months in the bottle. A fresh and elegant style of sparkling wine, with a nose centring on citrus, pineapple and white peach aroma with subtle brioche hints, and a palate with great accuracy and length. Celebrate any occasion with this great quality fizz, pairing with seafood canapés..
