Château d’Estoublon ‘Roseblood’ Blanc 2023, Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. This white cuvée by Roseblood d’Estoublon hails from the slopes of Provence’s only volcano. At an altitude of 250-300 meters, the Roseblood vineyards benefit from the Mediterranean climate balanced by the Mistral – the cold, dry, protective north wind. The clay-limestone-marl soils and the altitude bring freshness and expression to the wine, which is aged for several weeks on fine lees, adding complexity and smoothness whilst retaining elegance and delicacy. This wine was also awarded 90 points by renowned critic James Suckling. Expect notes of lemon confit, ginger and a touch of exotic fruit. Deliciously fresh with a long finish, pair with a cheese platter, or enjoy as an aperitif..
