Set in the region’s west, Minervois is a hotspot for Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. Fortant’s grapes are grown in hard, stony limestone – lending rich aromas and silky tannins to the Syrah, and a smooth, fruity freshness to the Grenache. Made from a micro-parcel of vines less than five hectares in size, this blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache is intense and complex. Blackcurrant, spice and cocoa aromas mingle with rich flavours, leading to a long, smooth finish..
